We have been involved in dogs all of our lives.  In 1987, our first Dalmatian, Spot, was purchased from Anne Fleming in Memphis, TN.  Spot's AKC registered name was "Madurhason's Sophocles" and he was in our lives for almost 14 years.  When Spot was 9 years old, we rescued a wonderful and loving Siberian Husky named Molly.  Molly & Spot were the best of friends.

Spot passed away in 2001 right before turning 14 years old.  A few months later, we purchased another Dalmatian, Zeke (now Ch. JVL's School Boy Heart), from Holly & Lannie Lancaster DVM in Marion, AR and Kathryn Anne Matheny in Memphis TN and started showing him in local dog shows.  It didn't take long before we were "hooked" on dog showing! 

After finishing Zeke's championship, we brought another sweet Dal into our lives and named her Gracie (now Ch. JVL's Meet Me In Memphis).  Gracie will become the Foundation Bitch for Madison Dalmatians.  After putting a lot of thought into what to call our kennel, we settled on something simple - Madison, the wonderful city we live in.

Our newest addition - BISS Ch Aberdeen's Time Bandit "Bandit" is fitting fabulously with the "fam"!  He is such a joy!  In addition to his "beauty", he has a very laid back and sweet personality that we (and everyone who meets him) adore!
